Last Thursday we did a trial run of Supper Freek at Julie's place. We hosted 5 smiley and happy sup(p)er guests that had a taste of the menu that we are gonna serve on our first supper club hopefully in July.
Our menu is as follows:
Rillette de saumon
(A lovely cold starter from France that combines fresh and smoked salmon)
(An aubergine dip from Greece with red pepper, spring onions and some chili)
Gazpacho del Pépé
(Julie grandpa's recipe for this lovely and fresh Spanish dish)
Honey and thyme roasted leg of lamb with new potatoes and papaya salad
(Lamb marinated for 48 hours and slowly cooked for 5 hours wrapped in grease-proof paper)
Tarte au citron meringuée
(Amazingly fresh dessert with lemony flavor topped with fluffy meringue)
We are super excited about our new project and we will keep you posted about all of our plans.
